Founded in 2013, SE Insurance Services is an independent, unbiased consulting firm specializing in healthcare and employee benefits for small businesses across the United States. We primarily serve companies with ~5 - 150 employees, with a strong focus on white-collar industries such as financial services, professional services, technology, marketing, and the non-profit sector. The firm works closely with all major PEO's (Professional Employer Organizations), and also operates in the "open market".

In addition to our white-collar expertise, we proudly partner with several PEO’s that specialize in “blue-collar” industries such as transportation, construction and staffing, as well as PEO’s who serve companies with their international payroll, employee benefits and EOR (Employer of Record) needs. Lastly, the firm also partners with a couple of PEO’s that have product/service offerings in the cannabis space- primarily serving dispensaries.
Further, complementing the firm's expertise in the PEO market, we also work in the non-PEO i.e. ”open market” arena- partnering with all the major healthcare carriers to construct individual plans, group “fully insured” & “level-funded” plans.
Lastly, we partner with leading payroll & HRIS providers i.e. comprehensive technology platforms, to manage employee data and HR processes, and can provide “open-market” dental/vision, workers compensation, short and long-term disability, Group Life Insurance, and ancillary employee benefits.

MEET STEVE EDNEY- MANAGING MEMBER
Steve Edney, a licensed Life & Health Insurance broker (New York License #: LB-1780316, National Producer #: 20638516), serves as the managing member of SE Insurance Services. With more than 12 years of experience in the PEO, healthcare, and employee benefits sectors, Steve has held roles at major PEO’s and non-PEO insurance firms, including TriNet, PrestigePEO, and USI Insurance Services. Steve’s mission is to help SMBs simplify and optimize their employee benefits strategy, HR and compliance, while relieving the administrative burdens that come with such- whether through the services of a PEO or independent market solutions.

These relationships, combined with his extensive industry knowledge, allow the firm to identify and deliver custom-tailored solutions that align with your company’s goals—whether you’re seeking the most competitive healthcare rates, top-tier employee benefits, or user-friendly HR technology.
